Founder Chairman:
Amarendra Dash : The Chairman is a Mechanical Engineer and a pioneer of seafood industry with four decades of experience. He is credited for having introduced aquaculture commercially to India and has weathered through numerous commodity cycles. Under him the group build US FDA, EU certified & FSSAI registered plants and has been twice awarded the National Award for highest export of marine products from India. Group’s turnover is currently around 250crs and has approximately 700 direct and indirect employees.


Founder Managing Director:
Gargi Dash: Managing Director is the daughter of Amarendra Dash and a seasoned professional with over 15 years of corporate finance experience across MNCs like ING Vysya Bank, General Electric and Carraro India in key leadership roles of Financial Controller and Head of Retail Finance. In her last role, she was the CFO of ING Vysya Retail Bank overseeing Finance and accounts across 1000 outlets with a 25,000 crores balance sheet. She acquired in depth experience of retail markets after having helped launched numerous outlets/branches and products pan India. As Financial Controller in Carraro India (Tier 1 Auto Component supplier) she got exposure to the Indian and global tractor industry.

Founder Director & CEO:
Pranab Ghosal : He is an Economics (Hons.) graduate and an all India rank holder Chartered Accountant, having over 25 years of experience in steel, engineering and Automotive industry. He had worked in Sonalika Group as Executive Director & CEO. During his tenure, Sonalika tractors witnessed robust growth in sales in India & abroad and doubled its bottom line and increased market share from 9% to 11%. He was instrumental in creating Brand ‘Sonalika’ culminating in raising $100 mn private equity for 12.5% stake from Blackstone private equity.  Prior to that, he was President for Escorts US & Europe Business. He managed the US holding company & its acquisition of two subsidiaries, namely Farmtrac Inc, USA & Farmtrac Europe.
Pranab Ghosal has worked in large multinational and Indian companies in senior/middle management like Carraro India Ltd (Chief Operating Officer), Delphi (Chief Financial Officer) and Tata Steel.

Commercial Head:
Akashdeep Singh:  He holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA. He has worked on Strategy & Planning with CEO & ED of Sonalika Group and has developed, implemented, monitored and reviewed all marketing strategies for the business. Akashdeep, has worked with external vendors and partners to align product, pricing and marketing strategies. Tracked market and competitors’ trends to keep abreast the changing client’s requirements and expectation. He has exposure of handling Private Equity stake sale in Sonalika group to Blackstone.
